Happy New Year! Expect to be blessed!

Do you expect to be blessed in 2015? I long for you to reap the blessings that God has waiting for you! The Lord has an incredible plan for You!

Expect to Be Blessed” is part of my “Believing You Can” three-part series (click here for Part 1 and Part 2).

Each day I write down the blessings that come my way. I also include writing down the dollar amount, (the value), what I would be willing to pay for that blessing. It could be a free lunch, a bouquet of flowers, an unexpected discount at a store, a kind word, or even a beautiful sunrise. I then set aside 10 percent of the value to donate. This concept has changed my attitude about life.

Often people miss seeing the blessings when they feel that they have been wronged. Because they are too busy focusing on self to notice. How do you react when you are wronged? Is it with anger, indignation, and or resentment?

When the heart feels broken it’s hard to look for the blessings, isn’t it? Do a heart check, do you have un-forgiveness in your heart, or have you walked away from God? Come back! Ask for forgiveness. Turn that negative into a positive.

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.”

2 Corinthians 3:18

When you claim God’s blessings transformation takes place. When you maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ you reap the blessings God has in store for you. By not compromising God’s standards, to be all in with Jesus, and to commit to God’s love for self and others!

The key to living well is to maintain a committed close relationship with Jesus Christ. It turns being wronged into blessings in ways that you would not even have imagined. It does not just bless you but all those around you will reap the benefit too.

Will you reap blessings in 2015? Expect to be blessed! I would love to hear your feedback on how God is blessing you. Contact me at Barb@BarbTV.org.
