Woman looking down

Living the abundant life God wants to give to you begins with forgiveness.

The Power of Forgiveness

No longer is being a Christian boring. Last year, when I chose to experience God, it literally changed my life. I started by sitting quietly for 30 minutes to an hour. In the beginning this was challenging, hard and boring. Many times I fell asleep – especially the first three weeks. However, I stuck to it and soon I start hearing God’s voice. The first problem that was in the way of hearing God clearly was all the unforgiveness in my heart.

There was so much unforgiveness sitting in my heart of which I was unaware, that it took me over three weeks to clean out. It was so freeing to no longer be holding on to all the “crud and junk” that comes for not forgiving. In the next few weeks we will explore how you, too, can be set free and start to live the abundant life.

It seemed impossible; Glory Kazumba forgave her family for what they had done to her.

Now she is finally FREE! Check out the videos of her interview with Barb below.

The hurt is deep, real and feels justified. However this state of mind is terrible for your health. God wants you to forgive. The following ten steps show you how to forgive.

Step 1:  Give Thanks

“See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people. Always be Joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”

— Thessalonians 5:15-18
