One time, after finishing my quiet time, I heard the word “fear” whispered in my ear. I knew it was the Holy Spirit. My first reaction was: “What do you mean by fear?” But, the more I contemplated on the meaning of fear, it became clear. Holy Spirit showed me that I feared life and people more than GOD.

I had it backwards. There was an underlying fear that seemed to be with me all the time. It was silent and part of my life in all that I did. Fear such as to not having enough money for retirement. Fear that one of my children would not turn back to God. Fear for people is a misplacement of faith. Fear will hold you back and not help you to move forward. Fear will stop you from making a decision.
The devil wants you to fear others instead of God. He wants you to be a people pleaser instead of a God pleaser. People are afraid, struggle and internalize fear. People fear is demonic and will try to take over in your life. And instead of getting rid of this fear, fear is the silent one that will cause you to react instead of respond in situations. Fear is seeing instead of believing. Fear is not trusting God.
There is only one thing in life we should fear and that is God almighty. Not in a weird fear but in a loving, caring wanting best for you father fear who always wants what is best for you. Love drowns fear. When you fear the Lord more than your situation many blessings will flow out from this. The key is in searching the Lord when you are afraid. Know who GOD is and realize what Satan is trying to do.
“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” -Romans 8:38-39
Step onto your victory
“For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.” – 2 Timothy 1:7
Trust in the Lord
“You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield.” -Psalm 115:11
“Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” – Matthew 10:28
Receive a Spirit of Adoption
“For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”– Romans 8:15
Cast out Fear
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.” – 1 John 4:18
Life Changing Tip: Once you understand you have not to live in fear. It sets you free and deliver you from the torture that takes place in your soul. Know that Satan has only the control over you that you give to him. You have the authority to overcome fear. Fear cannot control you unless you allow it to happen. Search for the Lord to be delivered from fear and HE will answer and deliver.
“I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.” – Psalm 34:4
