Section A: Statement of Faith
Thriving in Christ Ministries, dba Love Your Life Ministries, the producer of The Barb Marshall Show aka BarbTV, accepts the Bible as the inspired Word of God and as the ultimate authority in matters of faith, doctrine and Christian living.
Section B: Marriage and Human Sexuality
Marriage – is a biblical institution established by God as clearly described in the scriptures. The term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single exclusive union as delineated in scripture. This ministry recognizes that marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. Accordingly, this ministry, its host and guests will not participate in same sex unions or same sex marriages, nor shall they advocate on behalf of such unions or marriages. (Genesis 2:18-25, 2:26-27)
Human Sexuality – The Bible teaches that legitimate sexual relations are exercised solely within marriage. Hence, this ministry opposes all forms of sexual immorality, including adultery, homosexuality, and fornication. God offers redemption and restoration, this is evident through the affirming Gospel of Jesus Christ, who grants complete forgiveness for any sin, including that of adultery, homosexuality, and fornication. (1 Corinthians 6:18; 7:2-5, Hebrew 13:14, Matthew 15:18-20, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Acts 3:19-21, Romans 10:9-10, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11)
Section C: Sanctity of Life
This ministry believes in the sanctity of human life and that abortion is an act of injustice against innocent unborn children as well as against vulnerable women in crisis pregnancy situations, both of which have been victimized by a “sexual revolution” that empowers predatory and irresponsible sex practices, and by a lucrative abortion industry that has fought against even the most minimal restrictions on abortion. We offer our prayers, our love, and our advocacy for women and men who have been abused by abortion and the emotional, spiritual, and physical aftermath of this horrific practice, affirming that the gospel of Jesus Christ grants complete forgiveness for any sin, including that of abortion. Accordingly, this ministry, its host and guests will not advocate on behalf of abortion rights.
Section D: Our Belief
That every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect and dignity. All hateful and harassing behavior or attitude directed toward any individual are repudiated and are not in accordance with Scripture. (Mark 12:21-28, Luke 6:31)

Nine Essential Beliefs
Love Your Life Ministries provides hope, encouragement, and inspiration through our books and audio, television show, and speaking events. We also hold firm to these Nine Essential Beliefs, which are kept at the forefront of all ministry activities:
We believe the Bible to be inspired, infallible and inerrant in the original writings. (II Timothy 3:15-17)
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; John 15:26; Colossians 1:15-17)
We believe that all people have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is absolutely essential for the salvation of all people. (Romans 3:22-23; John 16:5-11)
We believe in the deity and the virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He died upon the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of the world, that He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, from where He will return with power and glory, and He provides the only means of salvation for us through His grace. (Matthew 1:20-25, 24:29-30; Acts 2:22-36)
We believe in the doctrine of justification by faith, realizing that it is impossible through works to save oneself. “Therefore, being justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 3:21-26, 5:1; Ephesians 2: 8-9) We believe in life after death, “that there shall be resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.” (Acts 24:15)
We believe in the resurrection of the saved into everlasting life in Heaven, and the resurrection of the lost or unsaved into eternal punishment. (Matthew 25:31-46; John 5:24-41)
We believe that the Lord’s Supper is a New Testament ordinance, which declares Christ’s sacrificial death. Those who have received Jesus as their personal Savior are invited to participate. (I Corinthians 11:23-29)
We believe it is important to clearly communicate the message of the cross, the physical resurrection of Jesus Christ, and our personal relationship with Him in order to “make disciples of all people.” (I Corinthians 15:1-8)
We believe the Bible is God-inspired and is our final authority for all we believe and how we are to live. (Matthew 5:18; John 10:35, 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21)
